Ekan further strengthens the establishment in Stockholm

Ekan kicks off the fall on all cylinders (or "phases"...?). In Stockholm, we are now taking on board three senior consultants, two of whom will take on the role of business area managers. "We are incredibly happy to have managed to find these consultants and employees." Says Christoffer Mathiasson, CEO at Ekan Management. "We look forward to growing new fantastic things together on the Stockholm market and at our growing office in Stockholm. We are particularly pleased to be able to further strengthen our offer within, for example, sustainable management and reporting."

Let's introduce our new star consultants one by one:

Gabriella Castegren has many years of experience in sustainability and energy efficiency in industries such as real estate, energy and community development. Gabriella is in demand as a panel member and as a speaker and moderator - not least through her experience with sustainability issues in the real estate industry. For the past 10 years or so, Gabriella has worked with strategy, goal management, project management and consultancy linked to sustainability (such as ESG goals and CSRD), mainly in the real estate industry. Often, her assignments have encompassed sustainability, digitization, processes, governance, management and cooperation between different actors.

At Ekan, Gabriella will take on the role of responsible for the Real Estate & Energy business area.

Jonas Niki Hugosson has 14 years of consulting experience, mostly from Sweco where, in addition to consulting assignments, he drove growth, sales and development of service offerings. In his portfolio, he has a large number of consulting assignments within business management, business development, evaluation, investigation, analysis, process support and process mapping in industries such as government agencies, the various ministries of the government office, regions and municipalities as well as municipal companies. More precisely, his assignments often deal with the development of mission-critical systems in the form of control models, strategies, action plans, digital support systems and follow-up tools, as well as the development of work and decision processes as well as collaboration processes between authorities and other relevant stakeholders.

Jonas will take the role of responsible for Ekan's business area Public operations.

Andrea Utas has over 10 years of experience as a consultant, most recently from Startpoint and previously WSP. Her academic background is in interdisciplinary environmental science, with specialization in systems analytical theory and method. Her consulting assignments have been primarily in public governance and administration, with clients spanning the entire governance chain – from the European Commission to Swedish authorities, regions and municipalities. The tasks are then about goal management, follow-up, evaluation, sustainability integration, organizational development and efficiency.

Andrea enjoys working in teams very well (just like the rest of us at Ekan) and is very used to leading complex investigations where authorities as well as regions and municipalities work together. She is passionate about creating the conditions for efficient, effective and prosperous organisations.

Welcome, all three, to us at Ekan!
