Catena X – What is it?
Catena-X is an open data ecosystem for automotive industry actors. It is a secure and standardized network that enables seamless data exchange between all actors in the value chain – from raw material suppliers to OEMs, dealers, service providers and recyclers.
Catena-X is developed specifically for the automotive industry with the core idea that the industry needs to jointly solve the challenges it faces. The collaboration means transparency, enabling compliance with new legal and reporting requirements, improved tracking of emissions and efficient product recalls, among other things.
